Welcome to the Alverton Practice online where we hope you will find enhanced convenience added to first class healthcare. Find out when we are open and how to see a member of the team. We’ve made life a little easier with practice updates, news on the latest health issues and even access to repeat medication all at your fingertips.

The Alverton Practice has been delivering high quality primary health care to residents of Penzance, Newlyn and wider Penwith for over 50 years. We are a vibrant and active practice, constantly striving to improve the quality and extend the range of services we offer. Our most recent Care Quality Commission report rated us as Outstanding - one of only three practices to receive this top grading at the time.

Our main surgery is located on the edge of the Penzance town centre.  We also have a branch surgery in Newlyn to the west of Penzance.

Patients are able to been seen at either site. 

Please note, as well as our monthly Saturday morning clinics, we also offer evening appointments each Tuesday between 18.30 and 20.00, and Sunday morning appointments, every 3 weeks between 10.15 and 11.45.
